Queen of Wheat
In Copia Cautio
Caution in plenty. She guards the bushel—wisdom stores what fortune provides.
She guards the bushel with measured vigilance. In copia cautio — caution in plenty — is the hardest wisdom, for abundance whispers that care is unnecessary.
The Queen of Wheat knows that full granaries attract rats and thieves, that seven fat years prefigure seven lean. Her stewardship is not hoarding but husbandry: knowing when to store, when to distribute, when to plant again.
Plenty is not the end of worry but its transformation into responsibility.
